Ultrasound is the use of high-frequency sound waves, which can be used to visualize the uterus and other pelvic structures. If your Premier Care physician orders an ultrasound, it can be conveniently scheduled and performed in our office by our certified technician.
Your ultrasound report will be prepared and forwarded to your physician for review, and possible comparison to any previous ultrasounds. Your physician will then formulate a treatment plan for you.
Within 10 days after having your ultrasound, your physician’s medical assistant will be contacting you with your test results and will provide you with your physician’s treatment plan. You may be asked to return to the office for further consultation depending on the results.
